After talking with these two over FaceTime I knew we had to make their session very natural and fun, as if I was witnessing a real date and just happen to get some photos along the way. If you are from anywhere near my hometown (and theirs) you probably know about Stauf's Coffee on Grandview Avenue. In school, this was a frequent spot for my couple and I thought it would make a great location for their time with me this week. Nostalgia always wins for me when it comes to location ideas. I am so glad Lauren & Andrew were able to make it to Columbus (from Chicago) for us to get a little practice in before the Spring!Read More

It is hard for me to believe that I am actually posting this. I have been friends with Adriana since high school and since then we have written many a letter and made many many changes in our life! Through it all, she has always been an amazing friend, so when she asked me to shoot her wedding, I was beyond thrilled! I had only met Yvener once before for their engagement photos, but I had heard a lot more through letters and spending time together when she was in Columbus.
It is undeniable how much these two love each other when you see them together, it makes my heart smile. Great couples balance and support each other, and most importantly, laugh(a lot)!Read More
By the time I shot this wedding, I had know this couple for almost a year. We had had our initial meeting, engagement session, along with some fun back and forth of wedding ideas and details. Needless to say, I just loved this couple from the beginning. Everyone feeds off their love for each other and their friends and family. They adore each other and that makes my job so enjoyable and wonderful. Check out their gorgeous wedding at St John the Baptist and the Columbus Athenaeum!Read More
All day you could here guests talking about how this day felt like a fairytale. When I first booked with Jenna and Matt, I got to meet with a lot of her family, so when it came time for the wedding, it was like shooting an old friend's wedding. Jenna looked like a princess and with Matt by her side I know they both felt like the luckiest people on Earth to have found each other. They both have strong family and religious values which you could see throughout the day, which made their day very personal to who they are.Read More
I love that gold has been back in style and found it's way into weddings. That combined with red (my favorite color) and an amazing and fun couple,..it made for a beautiful wedding day! Everyone was there to have a good time and celebrate these two. I loved that she had her brother as her best man, it is one of many details during the day that showed just how much these two love their families. A perfect day at Dock580! Enjoy the party!Read More
