Zoomed: My New Lens & FREE Stuff! / by Angela Fortin Washington

I am so excited to share that I have finally upgraded my marcro lens to Tamaron's new 90mm 2.8. My old 50mm macro got me through a lot, and it also makes me appreciate the new one that much more! You can check out everything else I use HERE. Anyway, some of you may or may not know, my humble beginnings in high school started with that little macro and every now and again, it is fun to shoot with one. considering how beautiful it is outside right now, I thought I would take a stroll around the block and see what I could find..

What I love about this lens:

  • The Auto Focus is incredible, it so so quiet and sharp...to the millimeter I am talking, just incredible.
  • It makes some beautifully sharp images
  • For how high quality it is, it's still several hundred dollars cheaper than Canon's 100mm equivalent.

Honestly, the only thing I don't like as much is that you have to get further away from the subject than the 50..but I know this can be a good thing as well..so not a full complaint ;)

I know, I claimed there was free stuff..well, here it is. I thought I would share some of these images on a 30 day PASS gallery so you all can download them for screen savers, phone backgrounds, or whatever you'd like. CLICK HERE FOR THE GALLERY. These and much more are awaiting your download :)  It seemed selfish to keep these beautiful Spring colors to myself!
